Cellino Attanasio and Scorrano

3 minutes drive



Head to Cellino and its medieval tower from the 1500, from the top of the terrace you can see over the all valley towards the east looking at the sea and Monti della Laga and towards west looking at the Maiella and Gran sasso mountains.
From the medieval tower there is a pedestrian walk at the top of the ancient wall of the town bringing inside the other tower still preserved out of the 9 original towers.

Scorrano is a very small village between Cellino Attanasio and Cermignano, worth a quick visit for his painted walls with murales depicting fairy tales for children.

20 minutes drive

Città d’arte, nice medieval town with a wonderful theatre. It is well restored and it worth a visit for a nice walking into a medieval setting.
Many shops and restaurants available, There are lots of events during summer time

Great view on the mountains and the sea.



Penne and Citta S.Angelo

Both towns are ranked among the "The most beatiful villages of Italy".

Penne is known for his brick streets and houses. You can find many historic landmarks walking through the narrow street of the town.

Città Sant'Angelo is closer to the sea and is worth a visit for the daily life of the town, its food, its churches and the position offering wonderful views over the coast.

Campli and Civitella del Tronto

Both Campli and Civitella del Tronto are ranked among the most beautiful villages of Italy collection.

Civitella del Tronto is famous for its fortress, one of the last fortress of the Spanish empire, known for the narrowest street of Italy.
Used for defense because of his view from the top that allowed to see attacks from the sea or from the north.

Campli is mostly known for Scala Santa, the holy stairs, and its archaeological museum.
